The Primary School of S. João de Loure is located in Loure, 12 km from the municipality and was founded in 2000. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd Cycles are taught in this modern, purpose-built building. It has a library, science labs, two computer rooms and a multi-sports building with a gymnastics room. There are also some leisure areas and equipment to be used in the students' free time.
